Sunday, May 4 2014 - Joliet Central Frosh-Soph ABC Invitational


The young spartans walked into Memorial stadium to compete in the 2nd annual ATI invitational.  The Spartans finished 6th out of 8 teams.  Several athletes came away with career pr's from the meet.  Jordan Nettles competed on Friday night in a varsity invitational and came back on saturday and had 2 PR's.  The first came in the 100 meter dash with a FAT time of 11.45 and then in the 200 with a FAT time of 24.35.  He then came right back to anchor the 4 x 400m relay team to a 6th place finish to end the meet.  Justin Suits had a 4 second pr in the 3200m run finishing in 4th place with a 10:36.  Dave Andrews also pr'd in the 3200m run with a 10:56.  He came back at the end of the meet to lead off the 4 x 400 team with a new pr of 57.3 seconds.Nick Sessoms pr'd in the 800m with a time of 2:19.66.  Victor Osinloye came back from a friday night of competing to win the shot and the discus, setting a new pr in the discus with a throw of 133'7".  Davon Maxey had a double pr in the throws with a 34'10" thorw in the shot and an 83'10".  Roberto Ramirez had a career pr in the triple jump of 30'5".
