The Spartan men compete at 47th annual Nalley invite, FInish 3rd.

The Spartans competed at the 47^th Carlin Nalley invitational this past Saturday. The Spartans came away with a 3^rd place finish in the 15 team field. The Spartans had several good performances on the day. The line Championship came in the Triple Jump. Curshaun Pruitt jumped 45’3.5”, winning the title. There were several 2^nd place finishes: Kelvin Jones in the discus (164’), Luis Loza in the 800 (1:58.19), Prosper Osinloye in the shot put (48’11”), the 4 x 100m relay team(Miguel Ford, Malik Riley, Marcus Tyler and Giorgio Terracciano) 43.74. The Spartans also captured some third place finishes as well: Mitch LaFond in High Jump (6’2”), Giorgio Terracciano in long jump (20’), 4 x 200 meter relay (Ford, Tyler, Riley and Terracciano) 1:32.28. The Spartans are back in action on the Thursday in the Southwest Prairie Conference Championships.
