Spartans Place 2nd at the Eisenhower Cardinal Relays

The Men’s track team competed at the 15 team Eisenhower Cardinal Relays last night and finished in 2^nd place with 113 points behind Shepard high school, who scored 142 points. Leading the way for the Spartans with winning relays were:

Triple Jump (Curshaun Pruitt 42’8”, Malk Riley 41’, DeAngelo Cross 39’ and Gill Whitaker 39’) 161’8.25”

4 x 800m (Mike Samuelson, James Boyd, Luis Loza and Armando Cortez) 8:41.15

Varsity Discus (Kelvin Jones, Prosper Osinloye, Anthony Love and Armani Bonilla) 493’9.5”

Varsity Shot Put (Jones, Osinloye, Love and Bonilla) 181’9”

Marcos Povilaitis continues to improve in his hurdle events placing in the 110hh @ 15.8 and the 300 IH at 42.24.
