Spartans Come up big in first outdoor meet, FInish 2nd at Satgg Invite

The Romeoville Spartan men competed in the 10 team Stagg invitational on Saturday. The men finished in 2^nd place behind conference foe Oswego east. Oswego scored 147 points to Romeoville’s 121. Leading the way for the Spartans was Curshaun Pruitt. Pruitt competed in the triple jump. He won posting a new school record of 46’9.5”. Others also placing 1^st are as follows: 

Kelvin Jones (discus) 140’10”

D’Aaron Williams (100m) 10.40 (hand held time)

4 x 200m relay – D’Lante Dawson, Miguel Ford, Chris Edmondson and Williams 1:32.36

 2^nd Place finishers were: 

4 x 800m relay James Boyd, Luis Loza, Mike Samuelson and Armando Cortez 8:42.24

4 x 100m – Dawson, Ford, Edmondson and Williams 43.95
