The Romeoville Men's track team competed at the Plainfield North Invitational on saturday. The Spartans came away with a 4th place finish out of 14 teams. Leading the way for the SPartans with a 1st place finish was Luis Loza in the 800m run with a time of 2:06.2. The Spartans finished in 2nd place in the shot put. Prosper Osinloye hit a season best 50'7". The SPartans claimed 2 third place finishes. Curshaun Pruitt hit a career best in the long jump of 20'.5" and the 4 x 200m team of D'Lante Dawson, Miguel Ford, Chris Edmondson and Gio Terracciano had a time of 1:36.6. The Spartans had 2 fourth place finishers as well. Armando Cortez finished with a 2:10 in the 800m and Mitch LaFond cleared 6' in the high jump. The Spartans next meet will be this saturday at Lewis University in the Bolingbrook fast times meet.
