EPGXC brings home hardware at BV invitational

Last week ended quite well for the Titans. Our Fresh/Soph boys won the Bureau Valley Invitational Fresh/Soph race, a race we have never before managed to earn a place in the top three. While Hunter came a bit short of breaking Jacob's 14:24 course record, his 14:28 did place him 4th. Followed closely by Ryan Filkins's 14:31 in 5th. The boys crushed it. www.bureauvalleytrack.net for complete impressive results. All of our scorers placed in the top 25 to earn trophies (in addition to the first place team trophy we brought home). Our #1 and #2 (Jacob and Tyler) also brought home some hardware as they both placed in the top 30 in the varsity race, making our entire top seven trophy-winners. Our girls also ran well, no season PRs, but a respectable showing nonetheless. We are looking forward to two fast courses this week (Saturday only 1.95 miles for the girls).
