Morrison Leads Titans at Maxwell

Freshman Maddie Morrison went out as the fastest female Titan on Saturday, and stayed as our #1 for the entire three mile race. Her time of 23:12 earned her a spot on both the Top Ten Times and the Top Ten Titans lists for the Maxwell Park Course. Our #2 and #3 were the Rosenberger sisters, Vera and Nadia in 23:58 and 25:28. Autumn Kridner was our #4 in 25:29 and our final scorer on the day was Kathy Mudd, who crossed in 25:53. Rachael Ingalsbe and Sophie Steffen were feeling their impressive Thursday workout as they rounded out the top seven for EPGXC with a 25:58 and 26:00. Seniors Karly Miller and Jenn Arbuckle also finished for EPG, running 26:17 and 30:28, respectively. The girls managed to beat their average on the course from 2011, and made vast improvements over recent time trial times. Our goal is to get all of our top seven girls under 24:00 before the Regional next month.

A long week of training awaits the Titans this week before clashing against a huge field of Class A teams at the First to the Finish Invitational at Detweiler Park on Saturday, September 14.
