Spartans claim 3rd place finish at PNTrack Invite

The Spartans finished in the top three for the 1st time at the PNTrack invite this past Saturday.  The Spartans scored 77 points along the way behind Plainfield North 123 and Plainfield East 105.  Leading the way for the Spartans were:

1st place finishers:

Joe Otchere 55m (6.3 career PR)

Amiri Buchanan Shot Put (49'3" Career PR) Throwers 55m Dash (7.0)

4 x 800m (Perez, Ford, Ibanez and Quiroz) 8:51

2nd Place Finishers

Xavier Jones (Long Jump 20'5.5" & Triple Jump 42'3")

Capri Stewart (200m dash 23.7)

3rd Place

4 x 200m (Stewart, Otchere, Kofi Owusu & Birley Johnson) 1:37.7

The Spartans travel to Lewis University for the SPC Men's Indoor Championships next weekend.  This will be a 2 level meet.
