The Spartans win on both Levels against Riverside Brookfield

The Romeoville Spartans played host to the bulldogs of Riverside Brookfield.  The Spartans came away with the win, 76-66.  Leading the way for the Spartans with 3 wins was Capri Stewart.  He won the 400 (51.8), 200 (23.5) and the long jump (19’3”).  The Spartans also had event wins from:

Jordan Nettles (100m) 11.0

Ian Irvine (800) 2:10.28

4 x 200 (Nartey, Nettles, Otchere and Burge) 1:36.34

Jorge Ocampo (300) 42.6

Xavier Jones (triple Jump) 41’2”

Davon Maxey (Shot put) 41’4”

Victor Osinloye (Discus) 147’4”

The Spartans went 1,2,3 in the 100 with Otchere finishing 2^nd and Stewart finishing 3^rd.  The Spartans travel to Naperville North on Friday for the Gus Scott invitational.

The frosh/soph Spartans also played host to the bulldogs and came away with the win, 79-57.  Leading the way for the Spartans with 2 event wins was Daytwone Burge and Amiri Buchanan.  Daytwone won the 110 HH (16.5) and the long jump (19’4”).  Amiri won the shot put(41’4”) and the discus (96’5”).  Also winning events for the Spartans were:
