The Spartans competed and won on both the Varsity and the Frosh/soph levels against Joliet West and Providence.

The Varsity Spartans competed against Joliet West and Providence on Tuesday.  The Spartans came away with a double win with the final score of 68, Joliet 51 and Providence 37.  Leading the way for the Spartans with 3 wins was newcomer Capri Stewart.  He won the long jump (19’4”), the 200m (23.7) and the 400 (52.1).  Also contributing with a victory and part of a winning relay was Jordan Nettles.  Jordan won the 100m (10.9) and was a member of the 4 x 200m team that won (1:34.50).  Jorge Ocampo won the 110m HH with a time of 16.39.  Ian Irvine won the 800 (2:04).  Xavier Jones won the triple jump (41’3”).  Victor Osinloye rounded out the winners with a win in the discus (149’4”).  

The young Spartans competed against Joliet West and Providence on Tuesday.  Winners for the Spartans were:

4 x 800m (9:33) Jones, Quiroz, Ford and Lee

The Spartans defeated both Joliet West and Providence 65.5 to 58.5 to 38.
