Rice Twilight Wrap Up

On Friday night, the cross country team hosted the 'Rice Twilight.' The Frosh/Soph team got the meet off to a great start sweeping the first six places. Logan Warda was the individual champion, slightly besting teammate Gavin Ryan. Brian Sheehan, Andrew Quinn, & Eamon Roache rounded out the top five, with Sam Porras placing sixth. The Varsity team fed off the momentum taking home the victory. Senior Connor Melean captured his first victory of his career just ahead of teammate Charlie Walsh. Joey Bowes (4th), JD Maloney (5th), & Gavin O'Connor (6th) all ran big personal bests! Thank you to all the faculty that came out to support & volunteer to help run the meet. This Thursday, the Frosh/Soph team will compete in the Joe Mortimer Invitational, while the entire team will travel to Lisle on Saturday.
