Richard Spring Invitational Wrap Up

On Saturday, the cross country team travelled to historic Detweiller Park in Peoria to take part in the Richard Spring Invitational. The top finisher for the Crusaders in the varsity race was Charlie Walsh who placed 193rd out of 457 competitors. The Frosh/Soph team placed 21st out of 49 teams. Charley Duggan closed strong to cross the line in 22nd out of 362 runners. On the day, of the fourteen athletes that raced, twelve ran personal bests. This Friday, the team will host the 'Rice Twilight.' The Frosh/Soph race will be at 5:10 and the varsity gun will go off at 6:30pm. Come out and cheer on the 'Running Ugly' Crusaders in their lone home meet of the season.
