CCL Championships Wrap Up

On Saturday, the cross country team hosted the Catholic League meet at Lewis University. The meet got off to a great start as the freshmen team captured the championship! The Crusaders were led by top ten performances from Gavin O'Connor (3rd) & JD Maloney (6th). Logan Warda (13th) & Gavin Ryan (15th) both had stellar kicks to place in the top 20. Brian Sheehan rounded out the scoring in 24th. Andrew Quinn & Eamon Roache also both had strong races. Charlie Walsh was the top finisher in the varsity race finishing in 32nd. Senior Jack Antonsen returned to run a personal best! In all six Crusaders ran PR's. This Saturday the team will compete in the IHSA Regional at Midlothian Meadows and will be shooting for its 4th consecutive title. Gun goes off at 11am.
