Reavis invitational Wrap Up

On Saturday, the cross country team competed in the 56th Annual Reavis Invitational. The F/S team got the Crusaders off to a great start taking the win with 38 points over second place Sandburg (75 pts) and third place Marist (119 points). Charley Duggan was the individual champion taking the lead in the last 600m. Danny Macis & JD Maloney ran great races to place 4th and 5th. Gavin O'Connor (15th) and Gavin Ryan (21st) also earned medals to round out the scoring. The top performer in the varsity race was Charlie Walsh in 17th. Connor Melean & Jack Antonsen placed 25th and 26th. Freshman Dan O'Shea ran great in his debut and was the top finisher in the open race. This Saturday, the team will travel to historic Detweiller Park in Peoria to take part in the 96-team Richard Spring Invitational.
