Spartans finish 3rd at Lemont Invitational

The SPartans finished 3rd at the Lemoont invitational.  They totaled 91 points to Carl Sandburgs 171 and Lemonts 92.  Anthony Balderas was a double winner in the 55m dash and the 4 x 200, teaming up with Eric Ibarra, Bobby Tello and Miguel Ford.  The first legs of the race ran an extra 10 to 15 meters extra causing a slower than normal time of 1:41.2.  The other winner for the spartans was sophomore Kelvin Jones in the shot put with a throw of 45'8".  Complete team results are found under the Lemont link.
