Spring Break 2015 (Girls information is below the boys)

LWN Boys Track and Field

Friday 4-3:  No practice.  On your own:

                Distance Runners:  30 minutes easy, 8 strides.  Rope stretch.

                Sprinters:  2x(5x200m) @ 30 sec, rest, 2 minutes, 10 minutes rest between sets

 

Saturday 4-4:  No practice.  On your own:

                Distance Runners:  30 minutes to an hour easy.

                Sprinters:  Rest day

 

Sunday 4-5:  No practice.  On your own:

                Distance Runners:  Long Run

                Sprinters:  Rest Day

 

Monday 4-6:  No practice.  On your own:

                Distance Runners:  30 minutes to an hour easy.  8 strides (4 regular/4 monster)

                Sprinters:  2x(3x600m), @ 1:40-2:00 minutes, rest, 15 minutes rest between sets

 

Tuesday 4-7:  Meet at HF.  Bus leaves at 3:00 from North

 

Wednesday 4-8:  Practice at North from 8-10

 

Thursday 4-9:  Practice at North from 8-10

 

Friday 4-10:  Sprinters and Throwers practice at North from 8-9:30.  Distance runners practice at Hickory Creek LaPorte Road Access from 8-9.

 

Saturday 4-11:  Blue Smoke Invite at Thornridge.  Bus leaves from North at 9:30.

 

Sunday 4-12:  No Practice.  On your own.

                Distance Runners:  Long Run

                Sprinters:  Off

 

Girls Spring Break Practice Schedule

  • Thursday, April 2nd – 2:10 pm
  • Friday, April 3rd – Practice on own

 

  • Monday, April 6th – Practice on own
  • Tuesday, April 7th – 8 am to 10 am
  • Wednesday, April 8th – 3 pm Home Meet

o  Everyone will be in meet

  • Thursday, April 9th - 8 am to 10 am
  • Friday, April 10th - 8 am to 10 am
  • Saturday, April 11th – HF Invite

o  Varsity only, 2 entries per event
