IHSA 2A Boy's State Recap

On Saturday, the cross country team competed & completed their season by placing 28th at the State Championships at Detweiller Park in Peoria. The team once again was led by top performer Gavin O'Connor who earned All-State honors placing 12th! Gavin concludes his XC career as one of the top 5 athletes in school history! Andrew Straley passed 20 runners in the last 2 miles to place 31st. This is the best state finish by any junior in school history. Oliver Davis, Aidan Leary, & Brian Sheehan rounded out the scoring, all running personal bests. Thanks to all those who have supported the team this season.
