CCL Championships Recap

On Saturday, the cross country team competed in the CCL Championship at Loyola. Gavin O'Connor became just the 5th champion in school history executing a perfect race taking the lead just 200 yards from the finish! Andrew Straley had a strong race to place 3rd and also earn All Catholic League honors. Dylan Cody (8th) & Declan Nieto (12th) both earned medals in the sophomore race. Desmond Nieto led the Crusaders in the open race with a 20th place finish. This Saturday, the team will compete for the IHSA 2A regional title at Crete Monee.
