Evanston Open Meet Recap

This past Saturday, the track & field team opened its season at Evanston. Event winners on the day at the varsity level were Gavin O'Connor in the 2 mile & Emeir White in the 55m dash.  Second place efforts came from Conor Hynes in the 2 mile, Dan Speski in the pole vault, Al Crema in the shot put, and both the 4x200 (Donovan Moody, White, Danny White, Speski) and 4x800 (Matt Hynes, Dylan Cody, Luke Bishop, Matt Glennon) relay teams. Event winners at the FS level were Jameson Davis in the 55m dash, Griffin Stachler in the 2 mile, & Carlton Gordon III in the 300m.  This Saturday, the team will compete in the Valentine Relays at Proviso West.
