Peoria/Sundowner Invite Recaps

The Cross Country team had a busy weekend with 16 athletes running personal bests! On Saturday at Detweiller Park in Peoria, Gavin O'Connor & Andrew Straley finished 2nd & 3rd to lead the Crusaders. Both athletes are currently top 10 in the state. In the Solorio Sundowner at Marquette Park, the top finisher in the Frosh/Soph race was freshman Kieran McGarry, while Aidan Leary led the varsity team. The team has a bye week before returning to competition on Saturday, October 19th for the CCL Championship at Loyola.
