Evanston Open Meet Wrap Up

This past Saturday, the Field & Track team opened up their season at Evanston. Joe Heilmann won the pole vault at the varsity level setting a new personal best of 11'0! Second place performances came from Marcus Kennedy in the high jump, and Julius Lujano in the shot put. Event champions at the Frosh/Soph level were Charley Duggan in the 3200m run, Dylan McDonnell in the 55 high hurdles, Gavin O'Connor in the 1600m run, Marcus Brown in the 300m, and the 4x200 relay team of Brown, Ricky Taylor, Mac Alleyne, & McDonnell. Taylor also took 2nd in the 55m dash along with the 4x400 relay team of McDonnell, Robbie Rutledge, Antonio Fox, and Keanu Juhasz. The team's next competition will be this Thursday at Thornton.
