Niles West Invite Wrap Up

On Saturday, the cross country team participated in the Pat Savage Invite at Niles West.  The varsity team placed 21st out of 52 schools.  The teams top finishers were Jimmy Maguire, Eddie Burke, & Mikey Corcoran.  Senior Declan McGuire had a strong race to earn a personal best.  The sophomore team finished 5th out of 10 teams, with Charlie Walsh leading the way in 13th place.  The freshmen team 7th out of 11.  Troy Bever and Joey Bowes were the top performers.  The team has a bye this week before returning to action at Lewis University on October 19th for the Catholic League Championship.
