Lakefront Invitational Wrap Up

On Saturday, the cross country team competed in the Lakefront Invitational at Montrose Harbor.  The heavy rains, flooding, and mud made it a great day in true cross country conditions.  The varsity team placed 14th out of 34 teams.  The Crusaders were led by Mikey Corcoran and Jimmy Maguire who both finished in the top 25.  The frosh/soph team placed 6th out of 24 schools.  Charlie Walsh (30th), Sean Sullivan (31st), Connor Melean (43rd), Jack Antonsen (53rd) and Sean McNally (65th) were the top scorers.  This Thursday, the frosh/soph team will compete in the Joe Mortimer Invite at Turtle head Lake, while the entire team will travel to Niles West on Saturday.
