The Spartans travel to Plainfield East for the SPC Championships.

The Spartans traveled to plainfield east and competed in the SPC championships.  The Spartans placed 4 individuals in 5 events in the all conference bids at the SPC championships.  Leading the way for the Spartans with 2 all conference wins was Amiri Buchanan.  Amiri won and set the new SPC conference in shot put with a throw of 57'6" and then won the discus with a throw of 167'5".  The other Spartan with an event win was Enoch Antwi.  Enoch won the triple jump with a distance of 45'5".  The spartans earned all conference nods in high jump with Jayden Green finishing in 3rd place with a 5'9" jump and another in triple jump from Diego Durr.  DIego jumped 43'3" for a 3rd place finish.  Several Spartans finished in the top 6.  Jacoby Jones (400), Kejuan Stamps (100), the 4 x 100.  THe Spartans travel to Downers Grove North next week for their sectional.

The Frosh/Soph Spartans finished in 7th place at the SPC championships.  Leading the way with 2 event wins was Jaquille Brown.  Brown won long jump with a distance of 20'4" and then came back to win Triple jumpwith a distance of 41'6.5.  Joel Anyan places 2nd in high jump with a height of 5'7" and Seth Moser finished in 6th place in triple jump (37'2.5").
