3200

Tough race for Malec and Wolendowski after running big PR’s on Saturday in this event.  The hung in  there and battled, though.  Malec 12:00 (after being sick the day before) and Wolendowski 12:14.

John Conley made his PN high school debut and ran 1:41 faster than he ran for an outdoor 3200 time trial a month ago-  He ran 12:13 for a huge PR!

1600

The start of this race more resembled a marathon start, as a packed field about 6 rows deep took the line.  Jonathan Suarez of East went down within the first 100m of the race, so the runners were recalled to the start.  Adam Bruyere led the way for PN, tying his season PR with a 5:15.  Tim Schrank followed closely with a 5:17, and Ben Defrancisco rounded out the top 3 finishers for North with an indoor season PR of 5:27.

Also, congrats to Rehan Arif-  6:18!  10 sec. faster than 1 week ago!!

800

This was the only event that the distance crew put up points in.  Michael Delaney finished a close 2nd place to Lathrop from South.  Mike’s time was 2:12.5, and in addition to coming away with a 2nd place, learned some valuable lessons on 800m race tactics!

In addition to being the only event the distance crew scored in, the 800 was also the event with the most PR’s.
