Lincoln Way Central Invite Wrap Up

On Saturday, the cross country team competed in the 'Run Down at the Round Barn' in Manhattan hosted by Lincoln Way Central. The day got off to a great start as all 10 runners in the Frosh/Soph race ran personal bests! Gavin O'Connor led from the gun and cruised to victory with a new course record! Freshman Andrew Straley placed 7th. Other scorers were Brian Sheehan, Johnny Vega, & Eamon Roache. Charley Duggan placed 4th in the varsity race. Charlie Walsh, Joey Bowes, & a breakout performance from Danny Macis also had strong races. This Thursday, the Frosh/Soph team will compete at the Joe Mortimer Invite in Tinley Park.
