Richard Spring Invitational Wrap Up

On Saturday, the cross country team travelled to Detweiller Park in Peoria to compete against 78 other schools in the Richard Spring Invite. The varsity team placed 42nd overall. The Crusaders were led by Charley Duggan who placed 57th in a field of 475. His time of 15:48 is a personal best by 39 seconds and over a minute faster than last year! Sophomore Gavin O'Connor & freshman Andrew Straley also ran personal best times! The Frosh/Soph team placed 45th. The top performer was Brian Sheehan who ran under 19 minutes for the 1st time. Other scorers included Dylan Koss, Johnny Vega, Eamon Roache, & Aidan Leary. This Saturday the team will compete in the 'Run Down' at the Round Barn hosted by Lincoln Way Central.
