IHSA 3A State Championships Wrap Up

This past weekend, 3 members of the Field & Track team competed in the state meet at Eastern Illinois University in Charleston.  Marcus Kennedy placed 6th overall in the high jump to become a state medalist! This was the 20th time the Crusaders got on the medal stand.  Joe Heilmann set a PR in the pole vault to place 24th! Henry Boyer did not have his best day and fouled all 3 throws.  All 3 had terrific seasons that included 2 Catholic League Championships (Kennedy, HJ/Boyer DT), 2 IHSA Sectional Championships (Heilmann, PV/Boyer DT), and 1 IHSA State medalist (Kennedy, HJ)!
