Varsity Outdoor CCL Wrap Up

On Saturday, the Field & Track team competed in the Catholic League Championship at Loyola. The Crusaders placed 3rd overall. Henry Boyer was the discus champion & Marcus Kennedy repeated as the high jump champion. Third place performances came from Julius Lujano in the shot put, Jake Dugger in the long jump, the 4×2 team of Nicolas Matejko, Marcus Brown, Ricky Taylor, & Owen Lyons, & the 4×4 team of Jack Antonsen, Owen Gorman, Peter McShane, & Sean McNally. Joe Heilmann finished 4th in the pole vault. All of these athletes earned ‘All-Catholic League’ status. This Wednesday, the team will travel to Morton for the IHSA Sectional and the right to qualify for the state championship.
