Thornton Invite Wrap Up

Yesterday the Track & Field team competed in the six team Thornton Invite.  The Crusaders finished second overall. The 4x800 relay team of Jack Antonsen, Mikey Corcoran, Sean McNally, & Eddie Burke began the meet with a convincing victory.  Antonsen, Corcoran, Nehemiah Ray, & Burke also closed out the meet winning the 4x400 relay.  Second place performances came from the 4x200 team of Corcoran, Ray, Sean Maloney, & Antonsen as well as Julius Lujano in the discus.  Third place medals were earned by Marcus Kennedy in the high jump, Joe Spaitis in the discus, Adrian Campos in the triple jump, and the 4x100 team of Jake Maheras, Brinaro White, Maloney, & Ray.  Tomorrow the distance crew will race the 1600m at St. Ignatius.  The entire team returns to Thornton on Monday.
