Evanston Open Meet Wrap Up

On Saturday, the track & field team traveled to Evanston to kick off the 2020 season.  At the varsity level, Chase Hall won the 55m dash & placed fifth in the long jump. Third place finishes came from Tommy Gorman in the 400m, Mikey Corcoran in the 600m run, & the 4x400 team of Giacomo Iraci, Corcoran, Adrian Campos, & Jordan Harris.  Henry Barsch had a couple of fourth place efforts in the high hurdles and 400m.  Anthony Matejko placed fourth in the 55m & fifth in the 300m, while Mike Davis took fourth in the shot put. Strong performances at the frosh/soph level were turned in by Julius Lujano in the shot put, Sean McNally in the 3200m, and Charlie Sullivan in the 1600m. This Saturday the team will compete at Homewood Flossmoor.
