Thornton Classic Wrap Up

Last night, the track & field team competed in the 40th Annual Thornton Classic.  The Crusaders placed took third place as a team.  Event champions included Chase Hall in both the long jump & the 60m dash while frosh/soph 4x400 team of Alex Elgin, Jack Antonsen, Sean Maloney & Jack Morrison ended the meet with a victory.  Second place performances came from Mikey Corcoran in the 800m run and the varsity 4x400 team of Anthony Matejko, Corcoran, Jordan Harris, & Hall.  Third place finishes were turned in by Harris in the 800m run as well as Antonsen in the 600m.  The team's next meet will be Saturday, February 29th at Lewis University.
