Varsity Outdoor CCL Wrap Up

On Saturday, the Track & Field team participated in the Catholic League Championship at Loyola. The Crusaders placed 7th overall.  The 4x400 team of Justin Palmer, Mikey Corcoran, Nehemiah Ray, & Tommy Gleeson closed out the meet with a victory.  Second place finishes came from the 4x800 team of Eddie Burke, Gleeson, Corcoran, and Pat McGann, and the 4x200 team of Chase Hall, Ronan Dolan, Anthony Matejko, and Giacomo Iraci.   Dan Spellman placed 3rd in the 3200m in a new PR.  Palmer also took 4th in both hurdle races, while Gleeson did the same in the 400m.  Dolan was also a medalist in the 200m.  This Friday the team will compete in the Lyons Township sectional for a chance to qualify for the state championship.
