Thornton Classic Wrap Up

On Saturday, the Track & Field competed in the Thornton Invite.  The Crusaders were champions at the frosh/soph, beating runner up Eisenhower 100-47. Giacomo Iraci won the 300m dash in a frosh-soph school record time & also won 60m dash. Ronan Dolan set the FS school record for the indoor long jump, won the triple jump & placed 2nd in the 300.  Other event champions include the 4x200 relay team of Malachi Dameron, Jacquez Young, Dwayne Moorehead, & Adrian Campos, Mikey Corcoran in the 600, Liam McElligott in the 60 high hurdles and Harrison Morg in the 800.  Second place finishes came from Mike Davis in the shot put and the 4x400 team of Morg, Corcoran, Dameron & Joe Eloby. The varsity team placed 4th, only two points out of second.  Event champions were Brian McElligott in the 600 & Dan Spellman in the 1600.  This Sunday the team will compete in the ICOPS Invite at Lewis University.
