McKendree Women finish 9th at GLVC Championships!

Five of McKendree's top Seven women set All-Time Bests (ATB) in their 6k race at the GLVC Championships this weekend! Led by Hannah Inyart with a time of 22:56.9 (ATB) in 21st place, the Women's Cross Country team finished 9th of 13 teams at their very first GLVC competition.

Freshman Kourtney Huelskamp ran a time of 23:32.9 (ATB), Christine Cunningham ran a time of 25:44.0 (ATB), Junior Lauren Ewart ran her ATB with a time of 24:12.0, and Senior Ciera Landolt finished in a time of 27:13.7 to run her fasted 6k in her career at her final race. Junior Megan Doty crossed the line with a time of 24:29.1 in an emotional finish as she laid it all on the line for her teammates.

The bearcats are now resting in preparation for their track and field training that will occur over the winter months.
