Girls - Gunpowder Invitational

The Gunpowder Invitational's course was changed slightly this year (a little slower and a guaranteed 5K) and the field was a little deeper.  The Falcons shrugged that off and still ran another great race as they are headed towards the championship season.  Emma put together a strong race after the absolutely CRAZY fast pace from the field and finished in 6th place. Casey and Dellaney got boxed in during the first mile but made their way back as they finished strong as well.  Caroline, Julia, Annie, and Veronica kept the strong performances going as they helped the team finish 7th in a 29 team field.  The Falcons will now prepare for what they've prepared all season for....winning a county championship.
