The Spartans competed at the PN Track Invite and came home with a 3rd place finish.

The Spartans traveled to Plainfield North to compete in the PN Track invitational.  The Spartans took third place behind the host tigers and the Bengals of Plainfield North.  They scored 78 points to 82 for East and 121 by North.  Leading the way for the Spartans with championship performances were:

Joe Otchere: 55m Dash – 6.30 (handheld), 200m – 23.2 (handheld)

Amiri Buchanan: Shot put – 53’3” (career PR)

Xavier Jones: Triple Jump – 45’9.5” (career PR)

Spartans who finished in 2^nd place were:

Spartans who finished in 3^rd place were:

Sir Muhammad: Triple Jump – 42’11”

Kejuan Stamps: 55m dash (Fr/So) – 6.5

4th place finishes were turned in by:

The Varsity and Frosh/Soph Spartans travel to Lewis University next weekend for the SPC Indoor Conference Championships.
