Illinois Indoor Championships

On Saturday, members of the track & field team competed in the Illinois Indoor Championships at Gately.  The top performance of the day came from Gavin O'Connor in the 3200m.  His 9:17.72 breaks his own indoor school record & establishes a new official school record!  Al Crema placed 11th in the shot put, Andrew Straley was 13th in the 1600m, & Emeir White was 15th in the 200m.  The team caps off the indoor season with 6 performances ranked in the top 25 in the state.  The team will open the outdoor season on April 10th at Hillcrest.
