IHSA 3A Boy's Sectionals Wrap Up

Last night, the Track & Field team competed in the 3A sectional at Lyons Township. The Crusaders placed 6th out of 17 schools. The top performer of the day was Dylan McDonnell who was the 300 hurdles champion & finished 2nd in the high hurdles qualifying him for the state meet in both events. Sophomore Matt Pikus threw a huge personal best to placed 2nd in the shot put also qualifying him for the state championship. Strong 3rd place efforts came from Al Crema in the shot put & Emeir White in the 100m. McDonnell & Pikus will compete on Friday at Eastern Illinois University.
