ICOPS Invite Wrap Up

On Sunday the Track & Field team competed in the ICOPS Invitational at Lewis University.  The Crusaders placed 3rd out of 23 schools. Event champions were Dan Spellman in the 3200 and the 4x400 team of Justin Palmer, Ronan Dolan, Mikey Corcoran, & Ty McCoy.  Spellman's time of 9:48 currently ranks him #13 in the state.  The 4x200 team of Anthony Matejko, Dolan, Chase Hall, & McCoy had a strong race to finish second. Fourth place performances came from Palmer in the high hurdles, Hall in the 55m dash, and the 4x800 team of Jimmy Maguire, Jordan Harris, Corcoran, & Harrison Morg.  Dolan captured four medals on the day taking 5th in both the long & triple jump.  This Saturday the weight men will take part in 'The King of the Ring' tournament at Eisenhower.
