Richard Spring Invitational Wrap Up

On Saturday the cross country team traveled to historic Detweiller Park in Peoria to compete on the state meet course.  Sixteen of twenty-one athletes ran a personal best!  The varsity placed 36th out of 63 teams. The Crusaders were led by Dan Spellman who finished the three mile course in 15:53.  Other strong races were turned in by Jimmy Maguire, Harrison Morg, & Zach Brosseau.  The frosh/soph team placed 34th out of 54 teams with Eddie Burke and Matt Quattrocchi leading the way.  This Saturday the team will compete in the Tinley Park Invitational at Midlothian Meadows.
