IHSA Sectionals Wrap Up

On Friday night the Track & Field team competed in the IHSA Sectional meet at Morton High School.  The Crusaders placed 7th overall and qualified 4 events for the state meet. Josh Boulanger had a PR with a leap of 45'7 to win the sectional title in the triple jump! Second place finishes came from Tommy Gleeson in the 800, Justin Palmer in the 300 hurdles in a dramatic finish for the 2nd year in a row and the 4x400 team of Brendan Coghlan, Boulanger, Palmer, & Ty McCoy.  All of these athletes will compete this Friday at the state championship meet at Eastern Illinois.
