Girls - Don Stoner Invitational

The girls put their stamp on the tough Don Stoner course on Saturday by beating tough competition of Arundel and Boonsboro by 15 and 16 points respectively.  Makenzie Hopkins ran an extremely intelligent race to hold off the field and finish in 1st place!  Kathryn Hopkins surprised the rest of the field by hanging tight for the entirety of the race and finishing 5 seconds ahead of the 3rd place finisher.  The rest of the Falcons all finished within the top 26 with Dellaney Georgiana (7th), Annie Kartalia (14th), Casey Jillson (16th), Allie Cullison (21st) and Brianna Mays (26th).  This was by far, their best meet of the season on a VERY tough and hot course!
