There are only seven schools in Carroll County, but the ones at the top are usually tightly packed. In fact, the last time that a girls team successfully defended a county title was back in 2010 when the Century girls won their third straight. Since then, Liberty, South Carroll and - most recently - Winters Mill have gone home team champions.
