THE BOYS ARE BACK TO THE STATE MEET!!!!

WE have 2 state qualifiers for the IHSA STATE MEET  at EIU Charleston, IL on May 29th

100m DASH   Shawn Griffin   10.89  2nd place  qualifying in both time and place!

4x200m relay team    Dominique Woods, Shawn Griffin, Marshawn Lewis and Jaurice Thomas  1:29.28 qualifying on time.

4 NEW SCHOOL RECORDS!!     Varsity 300m I.Hurdles  Ethan Schneider  44.69  which will be the varsity school record.  But he has set the frosh.soph record this year also!   Shawn Griffin 100m dash 10.89.  4x200m relay team  1:29.82  and the

NEW SCHOOL RECORD!!!!!   4x400m relay team  3:35.41  Kyle Mastrangeli(52.3), Jomari Cruz(53.24), Bryan Tlaczani(56.71), and Isaiah Carpenter(53.4).  We need all 52s next year boys!!

Brandon VanBogaert coming back from a stress fracture for a 2:13 in the 800m dash.

Larnell Brown with a 2" PR in the High Jump.  BARELY missing the state standard of 6'5.  He had 3 good jumps at 6'5!  Also had a 2' PR in the triple jump for 44'0.75.  Larnell is BRAND NEW TO BOTH EVENTS and goes to show what type of talent he is in the jump events!  Cant wait for next season!
