Eureka Triangular Meet

The Plains Girls Track & Field team competed at Eureka High School on April 7th, running against Eureka and Normal University High. The girls placed 2nd as a team at meet. 

Top placers included:

4x800 Relay: Carolyn Nika, Carley Hamilton, Stephanie Race, and Ali Pankey; 3rd place

4x100 Relay: Amber Clouser, Lauryn Leonard, Lauren Feagans, and Hope Tewes; 1st place

3200 Meter Run: Rachel Lange, 1st place; Emily Russel, 2nd place; Michelle Hedlund, 3rd place

100 Meter Hurdles: Amber Clouser, 1st place; Roya Nassirpour, 5th place

100 Meter Dash: Lauryn Leonard, 1st place; Claire Watson, 4th place

800 Meter Run: Ali Pankey, 2nd place

4x200 Relay: Lauren Feagans, Hope Tewes, Claire Watson, and Lauryn Leonard; 4th place

400 Meter Dash: Carolyn Nika, 1st place; Carley Hamilton, 2nd place

300 Meter Hurdles: Roya Nassirpour, 6th place

1600 Meter Run: Rachel Lange, 6th place

4x400 Relay: Carolyn Nika, Lauren Feagans, Jillian Yakel, and Ali Pankey, 2nd place

Great job ladies. It was a cold and damp night, not ideal for a track meet, but all the girls ran well.
