Evanston Open Meet Wrap Up

On Saturday, the track & field team opened the season at Evanston. Event winners on the day were James Lapenas (varsity 800m), Emeir White (FS 300m) & Matt Pikus (F/S Shot Put), & the FS 4x800 team of Andrew Straley, Dylan Cody, Matt Hynes, & Matt Glennon. 2nd place efforts came from Jameson Davis (FS 55m), Straley (Varsity 1600m), Gavin O'Connor (Varsity 3200m), the varsity 4x200 relay team of Davis, White, Khalil Cole, & Keanu Juhasz, Al Crema (varsity shot put), & Qwamaine Spivery (FS shot put). This Saturday the team will travel to Proviso West for the Valentine Relays.
