Indoor CCL Wrap Up

On Friday night, the Field & Track team competed in the Catholic Championship at Gately Stadium. The FS team captured the title behind a great team effort! Event champions included Dylan McDonnell in the high hurdles, Mac Alleyne in the high jump, the 4×200 team of Donovan Moody, Marcus Brown, Alleyne & McDonnell, and the 4×400 team of Alleyne, Brown, Robbie Rutledge & McDonnell. Silver medal performances came from Charley Duggan in both the 3200m & 1600m runs as well as Ricky Taylor in the 400m. The varsity team took fourth overall. The top scorer was Khalil Ross who took 2nd in the high jump. Third place efforts were all turned in by Julius Lujano in the shot put, Joe Heilmann in the pole vault, & Marcus Kennedy in the long jump. The team will travel to Thornton today & tomorrow for the ‘Last Chance Meet.’
