Indoor CCL Wrap Up

On Saturday the Track & Field team competed in the Catholic League Championship at the University of Chicago.  The Frosh/Soph team won their 3rd straight title! The Crusaders won all 3 relays including the 4x800 team of Charlie Fitzgerald, Alex MacFarlane, Matt Quattrocchi, & Harrison Morg; the 4x200 team of Jacquez Young, Giacomo Iraci, Dwayne Moorehead, and Malachi Dameron; and the 4x400 team of Fitzgerald, Nehemiah Ray, Morg, and Moorehead.  Ronan Dolan was the top point scorer winning both the long jump and triple jump, as well as finishing 2nd in the 400. Third place finishes came from Iraci in both the 60 and the 200, Ray in the 400, Dameron in the high jump, and Morg in the 800.  The varsity team placed 8th overall.  Medalists include the 4x800 team of Dan Spellman, Brian McElligott, David Wolf and Tommy Gleeson; along with Zach Wareyko in the shot put, both earning 3rd place finishes.
