Additional Course Information
Kress Creek Farm is a large open field park with crushed granite trail and a Frisbee golf course within the park.
It is owned by the West Chicago Park District, who has allowed us to use it for cross country.
It is located about a quarter mile west of Joliet Road on a dead end portion of Wilson Road.
It is about ¾ of a mile south of Route 38 (Roosevelt Road). You can internet search for "Manville Oak Park" if having trouble finding it. This park is directly north of Kress Creek Farm.
The course itself will consist of two 1.5 mile loops about 40% on a wide landscaped crushed granite trail and 60% on manicured Frisbee gold fairways. There are some rolling hills. The course will be lined; it is expected to be double lined as in college courses. Runners will stay within double lines. Some flags and ropes will be in place to discourage cutting the course.
PARKING: During the races parking will be arranged by the park district, who will allow us to pull through a road into the farm and park on high ground.
Please notify your spectators that they will park in the large open field just North of Wilson street. There will be people directing traffic and in key locations to help direct them to the race parking area. There is a bridge they can cross directly to the course.
